Book lovers launched an audacious plan this week to help readers trapped in Florida.

A website called BannedBooksUSA.org will send censored and restricted books for free (plus the cost of shipping) to any library, school or person in the Sunshine State.

For every book sent, BannedBooksUSA will make a donation to a Florida-based LGBTQIA+ or BIPOC nonprofit. And 10 percent of every cover price will be deposited to help Florida indie bookstores. BannedBooksUSA is considering plans to help other states plagued with modern-day Comstocks. Get ready, Texas!
