Faces in my Fist - 70 minute stylized play production

The “Colored Heavyweight Championship” was not enough for Harry ‘Black Panther’ Wills. Wills wanted a shot at the title of “Heavyweight Championship of the World.” Yet, as a victim of the ‘color line’ drawn by the 1920s boxing establishment, the prospect of boxing Jack Dempsey for that title would never unfold. Wills, 35-years later, now resides in Harlem and is haunted by the demons of his past. He is old, lonely, talks, blames, and invites the demon spirits to materialize from old dusty posters hanging on the walls of his dilapidated gym; wanting just one more shot at the heavyweight title. One morning, Harry enters his gym, and Wills’ life changes forever.
